Kasumi had been sitting in her chair for what seemed like hours what is there to do round here?. Putting her feet up on the table Kasumi started to think of more ways to help the people around her, well at least the people who wanted to live. "There is only one way to stop all the death". Letting her head full back Kasumi shut her eyes and listened to what was happening around her. Training, talking and people sleeping. "What happens when I get to old? And die?" Kasumi couldn't help but think out load, what else could she do. Nothing.

"The next generation take over our jobs and carry on attempting to survive."Lady stepped out of the shadows of a large pillar, and stood by her cousin. Not many people had been looking, but had they seen Lady Angel's lips actually moving, and sound produced from her lips, they would've been shocked. Lady angel moved towards the table which Kasumi had her feet resting on, and sat down on it lightly, looking at her cousins confused and worried face. She was trying to think about survival that is for sure. But this wasn't good, Angel done the thinking, Kasumi didn't do well under pressure, which is why Angel took most of the brain work.
If Angel started worrying more about stopping this cure, she may try to help Lady Angel in the labs. Angel knew that Kasumi would only irritate her, and would be offended when Angel kicked her out of the lab angrily. Another worry was that she might lose confidence and give up. Which is why part of Lady Angels duty was to make sure Kasumi didn't break. But that was not likely, both girls were strong, both never cried, one was smart the other brave, the perfect match really. Sakura had just returned from a long day's training. She had been at it since before dawn. Her japanese blade, Tsukishiro, was her most useful weapon, and she was already extremely skilled with it. There is always room for improvement. Sakura thought. That's when she heard Kasumi thinking out loud.
"What happens when I get to old? And die?"
Sakura turned to see Lady Angel, who had appeared out of nowhere and stood near Kasumi.
"The next generation take over our jobs and carry on attempting to survive."
Sakura pulled her fists into tight balls. She understood what Angel meant. It was more than possible their generation would not be able to pull through, and it might be later generations who overcome the gas and get to live to a ripe, old age. This is so frustrating! We are wasting so much time, how can we expect to pull through this if we are all just SITTING around?! Sakura took a deep breath, relieving her frustration. Ok, We can DO this... Sakura took a few steps back and leaned against the wall. Kasumi seems disturbed about her future... Sakura was glad their leader had Lady Angel to help keep her together and carry part of her burden. I must be ready to do my part too!

Kasumi looked up at Angel "well ain't you a happy little camper!" Leaning back on her chair Kasumi shut her eyes again and listened around her. Seconds later Kasumi heard movement from nearby in the room "WHOS THERE!". Moving quickly Kasumi stood up, pulled out her gun and pointed it at the person ,covered by darkness unable to see their face. Everyone here had to sign in, their name was called so we knew exactly who came in and went out. "You will step into the light, where i can see you now! And if you don't i will blow your head off!" Moving her hand in wired ways to make her fingers click loudly Kasumi breathed lightly as if she did this every second of every day.

Sakura could feel a reassured smile across her face. That's our leader, always on her guard. Sakura casually stepped into the light and into Kasumi's view. "Calm down, it's just me, Sakura. I just came back from training." She brushed a strand of pink hair out of her face. She sat in a nearby chair, and stood her sword so it was leaning against the side of the chair. She always kept it at her side like any smart person would. Sakura looked up and stared at the ceiling. "Good thing you are always on your guard. If you weren't, Lithium could be in serious trouble."

Kasumi looked at the girl in front of her "Why don't you go and sign in" Slowly moving her hands Kasumi put her gun away quietly so she would get anyone else attention. When will they learn letting the thought run through her mind Kasumi started to make her way back to her chair "Is there anybody else out training? If there is tell there names so I know not to shoot them point blank" Kasumi.
Kasumi had had a ruff day, looking after everyone was a tuff job, but to Kasumi it was fun. Who wouldn't like be in charge of people? But the best thing was that if her gang got into a fight, she would be there, in the front lines. But today was a different story. First of she was woken up at 3 am because the little ones where playing around, Kasumi normally didn't mind that but when it came to her only getting to bed an hour before that, well let just say that if she is going to fight anyway one today they will be dead is seconds. And to tell you the truth Kasumi didn't want to say what else had happened.

Lady Angel listened to Kasumi's reply, and didn't react. She heard someone in the shadows. Of course listening in, She glanced at them. Too relaxed for a general enemy. But of course Kasumi was trying to relax, Which obviously she failed at seeing as she jumped up , and roared into questioning. Lady Angel sighed silently, Such aggressive, Useful but occasionally annoying.
Lady Angel watched for a moment, She heard the flattery, and resisted another sigh. She had overheard a few conversations lately, conversations of those who thought that Kasumi was of course great and yet Lady Angel was not really needed. No she wasn't a warrior, she was a natural born peace-maker. But some thought that their lack of progress in the cure of this epidemic was because Lady angel wasn't trying enough. she wasn't as hands on as Kasumi, and they didn't like that.
Lady Angel clenched her fists a little, her nails scratching her gently as a minor-punishment for actually caring about what others thoughts about her. This was not the time for emotion. She noticed Kasumi returned and looked at her, she was tired. But then again so was everybody, all for similar reasons. for war. Because of training, or fighting or some sort. LA was reminded of her fight with Merritte, She was not going to tell Kasumi yet, Kasumi was to distressed, she would inform her cousin when she was calmer and less distracted.

"Sign in..............Oof!" Sakura slapped her hand over her eyes as she just realized what Kasumi was saying. Stupid! I forgot to sign in! Sakura laughed nervously and closed her eyes, embarressed. "Er...I guess I kinda forgot, my bad! I guess it would be a good idea for me to try to remember this kinda stuff, before someone accidentally blows my head off...hehe..." Sakura watched as Kasumi put her gun away. I guess I really SHOULD remember next time... While Sakura was caught up in her own thoughts, she heard Kasumi ask if anyone else was out training. "Um...I don't think so...I mean I didn't see anyone," Sakura replied quickly to show she was listening.
Sakura felt her eyes move towards Lady Angel, who seemed to tense up for some reason. Hmm... "Lady Angel, are you worried TOO? I mean, you shouldn't. I know your working extremely hard and it's sure to pay off..." Sakura blinked, figuring out what to say next. "If you keep up the good work like you always do, we're sure to get through this." Sakura wasn't completely convinced herself, but the only thing she could do was keep thinking as positive as possible. But if BOTH leaders are stressed...

Kasumi finally made it to her chair. turning her whole body, Kasumi soon had her butt hitting her hard chair with some forces that she felt a shiver go up her spine and pain in her butt. I don't think I'll do that again. Moving round a bit Kasumi let her head fall back on the the top of the chair so she was looking the ceiling up and down with a tired expression on her face.
She glanced at Her cousin, she seemed to be in deep thought, but she always was. Angel the thinker. Kasumi the Worker. The two went together like Bread and Butter. Milk and Cookies. Etc etc...But the cure, it wasn't going to be done in five minutes. And they had to survive, the attacks, the food, how would they survive? That is what she needed to know.. "Want can I do to make sure that until we get that, this place will be ok?"

Lady Angel glanced at Sakura, one of her researchers. She listened to her reply and resisted a grin. Kasumi could be pretty scary when she was pissed. The only person who was usually able to be around without having their head bitten off was LA. But even LA had times where she had to bite down on her tongue to prevent herself from snapping and saying something to piss of Kasumi. A large number of comebacks a day went through Lady Angel head, but she resisted always. Arguing resulted in revealing your weaknesses.
Lady Angel looked at the girl and blinked. She listened to her words and shook her head. Optimism. Lady Angel was more of a Realist. She saw things for what they are. She looked around and saw the youthful having to grow up too quickly and being limited. She had five years left to make a change. In those five years she intended to make as much of a difference as possible. She hoped to leave enough evidence and information for someone in the next generation to stop the time limit. She glanced down to one of the doors, the legal year of sex had been lowered to fifteen, bu she was still a virgin.
The door she was looking at was a long corridor of room where the next generation were being made. In order to survive children had to be made, it was slightly disgusting how this business went about. But nothing compared to the Sodium, Lithium had lost a few of their females to them, once on a raid. A few of the Lithiums had spotted a pregnant girl, one bruise and beaten. But still alive. It was a lithium. Some had accused the girl of betrayal But Lady Angel had convinced them that it could possible be the result of rape. Especially seeing as the girl was in such a poor state.
She glanced at Kasumi, and stared at her for a second, she needed to have a serious word with Kasumi about her lack of confidence. Kasumi was no doubt a pessimist, which was both a good and bad thing. One she lacked confidence which caused some problems, however it drove her with enthusiasm. It gave her a reason to fight more, because she wasn't sure whether she'd survive anyway. So best give what she had all she's got, because there's a chance we were all going to die out. Lady Angel needed to make some trust and confidence adjustments.

[glow=hotpink,2,300]One without the other, and we would all surely die...[/glow]
Sakura stood still for a moment, trying to observe Lady Angel. She was deep in thought. Sakura knew it was pointless to try to read LA's thoughts. She was so mysterious, and it was impossible to tell what was going on in her head. The only one who came close to being able to understand her was Kasumi. When Sakura looked at them, working together to find a cure, it reminded Sakura of two things that cannot exist without the other. Without Lady Angel's researching and planning, any action Kasumi were to take would be more than likely to fail. Likewise, without Kasumi's labor and leadership, any plan they had would be extremely difficult to carry out.
Sakura's mind was always haunted by the more than likely fate of her generation. They didn't have that much time, and the chances of there survival were slim.
That's reality... Sakura didn't try to fight the thought, there would be no point, really. She had to at least put on a face so the younger children would have hope. Hope. It was all they needed. If all the future generations had hope that there was a point in all this, that just maybe, they weren't doing all of this for nothing, they would carry on working and researching. Fighting for there lives. They would continue the work of Lithium, and maybe one day they will succeed. The world would repopulate, and everyone can live decent, happy lives again. Kids can be kids again; They can laugh and play, carefree until they grow up to a ripe old age and die peacefully in their sleep, knowing they lived their lives to the fullest. Sakura shook away this thought, for it about brought tears to her eyes. If the tears came they wouldn't stop. She couldn't afford to cry. Crying was a selfish behavior. It was more than useless. They didn't have that freedom anymore.
"Well...I better go and make myself useful..." Sakura turned to leave but before she made it into the corridor she involuntarily stopped in her tracks. Why did I...? Then, she remembered. She had forgotten what she had to report to the leaders. "Lady Angel, Kasumi..." Sakura turned back around, part of her did not want to think about her encounter with Merrite, let alone speak about it, "Earlier I had a confrontation with the Sodium leader, we fought but in the end he left me alone. He asked me for my name, but when I told him it he left. When he asked, he had pulled out a strip of paper. I think he is targeting a certain member of Lithium." Sakura looked at Lady Angel and Kasumi, wondering if this information was of use or not. She figured the target was most likely one of the two leaders, but she couldn't know for sure.
