Name: DariusSkills: I'm pretty organized and not dumb. I really enjoy RPing and have been doing it for awhile now. Like my character, I'm pretty devoted and hard-working. I really enjoy writing and RPing is one of my favorite forms of it. Though, I do need to admit, I can be lazy at times. Why: I wouldn't make a good direct leader, but I, and my character, don't enjoy following orders, though we will do what we're told. I'd feel pressured if I was the Leader, but being Second-in-Command will fill a necessary role and will be an overall cool experience.Sample Rp: One, two, three four... There were eight of them. Eight cracks in the section of wood that Caine's blue eyes seemed glued to, transfixed, as if the wood were a wonderous new object, or perhaps one of those paintings you couldn't tear your eyes from. Quite frankly, the boy was in a daze, exhausted and sore. The smallest movement, even the twitch of his finger, would threaten his facial muscles to tighten and in turn forcing him to wince. But he didn't want to show his discomfort, even if this was just an old, poor town. There was really nothing to do around here, was there? You didn't see elders playing games with each other or children playing in the streets. Everyone was working and doing their best to keep up with the demand of money. Caine could tell most of them were failing because their homes were inadequate. At least, to his standards.
Finally, after have waited at least ten minutes, a slender, stone cup was placed beside Caine. He blinked to force himself out of the stare and sat up straighter, reaching over the table for his drink. He knew of the poverty of the village, and for a second, almost hesitating drinking the tea he had ordered. But the burning in his throat roared at him to drink it , and he did. The green tea tasted fine, and even if it didn't, Caine probably wouldn't have cared. Once finished, Caine slid the coins on the table and stood up slowly, so not to upset his muscles. Without a word, he exited the tea shop, lifting the flap that served as a substitute for a door.
As he walked out, he was forced to squint at the sunlight. Before he had gone in, it was a bit cloudy, but apparently he had been in there long enough for the clouds to clear. Caine sighed and touched his pocket. His money was still there... all of it. Caine had done this often, for he had been to this town before and knew all too well that thieves rotted the streets. Their actions were to be frowned upon, but Caine couldn't blame them. After all, how else were they supposed to get money. Especially the kids? Speaking of which... Caine saw a child, a little girl about the age of six, pick up a substantial amount of money that a foreigner must've dropped. The girl snatched it off the dirt ground and headed off, in Caine's direction. As she was about to pass the blond, Caine reached out and stopped the girl at her shoulder. At first, the girl seemed shocked and looked up at Caine in disbelief and dissapointment. Caine gave the girl a look that had 'You know better.' written all over it. The girl frowned, tears threatening to build up in her eyes. She handed the money to Caine, who took it gently. "Who?" He asked, and the girl pointed to what looked like an elf. Caine gave a reassuring smile to the girl and pulled out the extra money he had, handing it to her. She smiled a thanks and headed off. Caine sort of hoped he had the money to match the elf's, but he was sure what he had offered would help.
Approaching the elf, Caine could tell she was not quite familiar with the town. She seemed a bit annoyed, but Caine couldn't blame her. After all, being an elf in a human village was sure to be uncomfortable. "Excuse me," Caine announced once he was in earshot. "But I believe this is yours." He held out the money in his black, finger-less glove.
